Our Terms
Kate McWilliam School of Movement
We want everyone to feel confident about how we run things at KMSM. Here are our key terms to help ensure classes run smoothly, safely, and fairly for all.
Enrolment & Payments
Payments can be made online in advance or in cash at class.
All fees must be paid in full before attending, unless a payment plan has been arranged with us.
Refunds are only issued if a class is cancelled by the school or in exceptional circumstances.
Attendance & Behaviour
Regular attendance helps students make progress and supports group learning. For exam classes, consistent attendance is expected.
If your child is unwell or can’t attend, please let us know as soon as possible.
We expect all students to behave respectfully towards staff, classmates, and venues. If behaviour becomes unsafe or consistently disruptive, we’ll work with families to find a positive way forward.
Facilities & Equipment
Please treat our venues with care and respect — we’re lucky to share such great spaces.
School-provided equipment must be used safely and responsibly.
Any personal equipment brought to class must be suitable and safe.
Photography & Media
We occasionally take photos and videos during classes or events for use in teaching and promotion.
We ask all families to complete a separate Media Consent Form so we can respect your preferences.
Safety, Liability & Insurance
As with all movement and circus activities, there is some risk involved.
Our staff take great care to ensure classes are safe, but we can’t accept liability for injuries sustained during normal participation.
Please make sure we’re aware of any injuries or medical conditions before your child takes part in class.
Privacy
We only collect personal information for school admin purposes.
All data is stored securely and handled according to our Privacy & Data Protection policy.
Changes & Communication
We may occasionally need to update class times, venues, staffing, or policies. We’ll always give appropriate notice.
If there’s ever an issue with attendance, payment, or behaviour, we’ll aim to speak with families directly and work together toward a solution.
